About
Welcome to Elite Development Soccer Skills (EDSS). EDSS has led the technical development and growth of soccer players across London and the surrounding area since it was established in 2001 by head coach and former footballer Isa Bulku. At EDSS, dreams are born!
Our training philosophy begins with the approach of ensuring kids have a love of the game, enjoy the session and learn in a proactive and positive environment. Our training emphasizes individual technical skills such as mastering ball control, dribbling, passing, receiving and shooting. We believe players can improve and perfect their skills in all areas of the game through increased touches on the ball involving constant technical repetition. We welcome boys and girls (ages 4-18) of all playing levels to come and train the EDSS way. We take the time to develop and nurture our players to ensure they reach their full potential technically and tactically. Our primary focus is individual technical work with the ball, which typically takes up to 70% of each session. EDSS training sessions, clinics and soccer camps are led year-round by professional, experienced coaches. Please see the training pages for specific details about the different types of training services available.
At EDSS, we understand the benefits of soccer training for youth, stressing the importance of improved physical fitness, coordination and teamwork skills. We provide them with a stimulating environment to stay active and have fun.

About Isa Bulku
Isa is the founder and technical director at Elite Development Soccer Skills and has over 30 years of experience in the sport. He began his football career playing professionally in Albania with FK Partizani Tirana and KF Tirana. He also played in the Canadian Professional Soccer League with London City SC.
Isa is well-known in the soccer community for his ability to teach soccer in a creative and fun way, while building incredible rapports with his pupils. His wealth of experience in the sport gives him the ability to pass on knowledge to the future generations of players. He believes that the future of soccer players relies on a solid foundation and learning the correct technical skills at an early age. This will enable players to be well-equipped to enter senior levels of soccer, whether for professional pathways, educational opportunities or just for the love of the game. Isa believes the path to success is based on knowledge of the soccer curriculum. Repetitive touches on the ball through creative drills and game scenarios, creating self-confidence and providing a positive relationship with their coach are key components to a young player’s development that begins at the grassroots level and carries on with them as they mature as players into adulthood.
